Welcome to the ARHA Amatateur Committee's page hosted by IRHA! This committee is the national standing committee representing all ARHA Amateurs! Please take a moment to browse this page. It will give you important information on who we are, what we are about and how you can participate and benefit from the programs we are offering this year!
The Mission of the ARHA Amateur Committee is to promote the well-rounded ranch horse and rider by:
- evaluating current standards and rules in ARHA and providing recommendations to the association focused on the definition of a Ranch Horse;
- developing innovative concepts and providing opportunities for amateurs to develop their skills through education and experiences;
- welcoming new members and providing support in order to help them develop the knowledge and skills needed to build their ranch horse;
- recognizing amateurs and their horses for their accomplishments, sportsmanship, horsemanship, skill development, and contribution to their fellow members and division.
